Abstract
He noticed a concrete slab with an iron lever protruding from its center. He limped toward it and pulled the lever: the plate moved. There was nothing below, only the dark and the cool. Why was a tunnel dug? He would get to the bottom of this mystery; so he began to descend very slowly into the darkness, dark as an ink cloud.
